Meet the Staff of Higgins Sports & Spinal Rehab - Your most dedicated Park Ridge, Illinois Chiropractic Care The "backbone" of our clinic is our dedicated staff, and we'd
like to encourage you to take a moment and read what they have to say
about why they love working at Higgins Sports & Spinal Rehab!
Throughout his many years of chiropractic training, Dr. Cabrera served as a teaching assistant in the anatomy department of the National University of Health Sciences, worked with a doctor who served as the strength training coach for a Major League baseball team, and provided sports medicine support for the Chicago and Milwaukee teams of the AVP Professional Beach Volley Tour. Dr. Cabrera first became interested in the chiropractic field when injured as an undergraduate student at Illinois State University. "I suffered a weight-lifting injury, and a series of three different doctors could offer me nothing but drugs for temporary pain relief. Finally, a chiropractor helped me to truly heal, and from that time I was fascinated with the field of chiropractic care. Shortly after graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in business, I realized that what I really wanted to do was help people the way my chiropractor had helped me. That's what motivated me to return to school for six more years and become a chiropractor…I have a deep, heartfelt desire to help others regain their health and happiness."
Sheri Robery - Community Outreach Director "Beginning with a patient's first call into the office, I love to explain how it is possible to live without the pain. All of us at the reception area enjoy welcoming each patient into our cheerful environment. It is so exciting to hear the patients describe their progress and return to activities they never thought possible! I love going to work each day with the goal of helping more people!"
"My purpose working here is to help make certain that patients are able to take full advantage of what is offered them through chiropractic care. Whether I am verifying insurance benefits or instructing physical therapy techniques, each task helps contribute to the common goal. And whatever I am working at, I try to do my very best and keep a cheerful attitude."
